I'm the host of our Restore Sanity call party—there are only 3 days left until the election, so I'm really counting on you to make it to our party today. We need to do everything we can this final weekend to stop the Republican takeover of Congress, but we'll have a great time too while watching highlights of the Rally to Restore Sanity.
We'll also watch a video from actress Olivia Wilde (from the TV show House), just for our Restore Sanity call parties. She's sending an urgent message from a frightening future where Sarah Palin is President and RepubliCorp controls everything. It's about saving our future and the importance of stopping the takeover, so I guess we'd better watch it (and if you haven't seen the awesome original video from Olivia sent to MoveOn members earlier this week, check it out here).

Directions: 1) Take the subway (A train) to Rockaway Beach, 98th street (90th is closed), and take the shuttle or walk to 92nd (Atlantic Ocean side); 2)Take the Q53 from Queens, get off at 95th street (the stop after the CrossBay Bridge) and walk to 92nd; 3) Drive and park on Shorefront Parkway near 92nd or in the municipal parking lot on CrossBay Boulevard (94th street).

Bring your cell phone and charger. We're making calls to other MoveOn members. I'll take care of printing materials. Your biggest responsibility is bringing yourself and a cell phone if you have one. (If you don't have one, let me know so I can help find an extra one for you.) Bring your phone charger in case your battery gets low, and bring an extra phone if you can.
