Dear MoveOn member,

Last week, we learned that President Obama plans to propose cutting Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment—which already fails to keep up with inflation for seniors because of the rising costs of health care.1

MoveOn member Rita Castillo captured what so many of us are feeling when she said, "I campaigned for you, voted for you, talked you up to all my friends and anybody who maligned you. Don't do this."

President Obama still has time to reverse course and drop these cuts from his budget. Please call the White House today and tell President Obama: "Do not cut Social Security benefits by lowering cost-of-living adjustments."
