Black churches burning

At least seven Black churches have been burned in the last week. Will you chip in to help them rebuild?
Dear MoveOn member,

Seven Black churches across the South have been burned since the mass shooting by a white supremacist at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.1

Investigations are just beginning into the church fires; several of them are already being described as apparent arsons. But one thing is quite clear: White racists are reviving the tactics of the KKK to terrorize Black Americans.

We refuse to just stand by and watch it happen. So we're aiming to raise at least $100,000 to help these churches rebuild.

Will you chip in to help these churches rebuild?
Every dime that MoveOn members donate through this email will be passed along to help rebuild churches that have been burned.

We're also calling on the Justice Department to take swift action to capture and prosecute the arsonists while doing whatever it takes to protect other churches from further attacks.

Together, we can show that no American—Black or of any color—will stand alone against violence and hate. We all stand against racist terrorism. And we have each other's back.

Thanks for all you do.
