Inwood: volunteer needed

Hi MoveOn member,

Members of Congress will soon take one of the most important votes of their career—will they support peace and diplomacy with Iran, or put us on the path to another war?

We're on the verge of a hard-fought and historic victory for diplomacy. But nothing is settled until the votes actually happen, which reports are now saying will be late next week.1

As lawmakers vote in Washington, MoveOn members and our allies will hold hundreds of Vigils for Peace and Diplomacy across the country next Thursday, September 10, at 6 p.m. local time. But we still need a volunteer in Inwood to help coordinate one.

Can you help coordinate a candlelight Vigil for Peace and Diplomacy in Inwood next Thursday? Click here to get started.

Coordinating a vigil next week is incredibly important, and we make it simple and fun—MoveOn will recruit for the event and provide tips and tools to help you promote it to your networks.

We just need to make sure a passionate MoveOn member is on the ground to welcome others, bring some candles, and oversee the agenda for the event (which we'll provide and walk you through!).

Together we'll win this fight for peace.

Thanks for all you do.

–Matt, Jo, Alejandro, Justin, Vicki, and the rest of the team
