On Thursday, right-wing extremists in the U.S. House of Representatives will vote to try to defund Planned Parenthood, one of the nation's largest providers of women's health care and family planning services.
In my latest video with MoveOn, I lay out the economic argument for funding family planning and women's health services, and why it's critical that all of us step up right now to defend Planned Parenthood.
Here's the bottom line: Everyone benefits when society respects women's right to control their own bodies and plan their own families.
Planned Parenthood is under relentless attack, and it's only going to get worse over the coming weeks. It's up to all of us to fight back. So I hope you'll watch and then share this video with your friends.
