Add your name: Stop the Dow-DuPont megamerger

The Dow-Dupont merger is just a way for DuPont to line Wall Street pockets while hiding the money it owes for poisoning thousands of people.

Dear MoveOn member,

I'm Earl Botkin of the Corporate Action Network, and I started a petition to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, which says:

The Dow-DuPont merger is clearly just a way for DuPont to line Wall Street pockets while hiding the money DuPont owes for poisoning thousands of people with C-8.

It is your duty to protect us from greedy corporations and ensure that our lives are valued as much as the lives of DuPont shareholders.

DuPont poisoned thousands of us with C-8, a byproduct of Teflon production, and the company's irresponsible behavior is finally catching up to it. DuPont has been ordered to pay $5.6 million to David Freeman, who has testicular cancer as a result of its actions.1

But DuPont is trying to use corporate tricks to avoid paying what it owes. If Dupont is allowed to merge with Dow, the money will be hidden and we may never get the compensation we are owed. Even though we know the two corporations planned it all out, DuPont hasn't said where the money will go, and until we have the answers, we can't let the merger go through.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch is the only one that can stop this merger. Tell her to step in before it's too late. We can't let them put more people at risk!

Click here to add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends.

Thanks!

—Earl Botkin, Corporate Action Network
